Individuals and small groups of visitors are welcome to visit The Royal Hospital.

Closed on Sundays from October to March and all Bank   
  Holidays, as well as official Royal Hospital events such
 as Founder's Day.

Opening times for the courts – chapel – great hall

LH court/Figure Court/College Court/Chapel and Great hall times are

10.00am to 1200am and 1400pm to 1600pm all year


- Entry to The Royal Hospital is FREE

- Visitors are able to see the Great Hall, Octagon and Chapel, walk around Figure, College and Light Horse Courts and visit the Museum and Shop.

- NB! The Long Wards are not open to the public.

TOURS

Conducted tours, for which a £60 charge is made per group (max 40), with a Chelsea Pensioner guide (subject to availablility), are also available. Coach parking fees are an extra £20 charge.
These are conducted at 10.00am and 1.30pm, Monday-Friday.

Next to The Royal Hospital is the The National Army Museum and a little further down the road is the Chelsea Physic Garden.

Please note that The South Grounds and Ranelagh Gardens are closed until the 5th July due to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
