The aims of The RHC Concerts are two fold - to showcase both internationally acclaimed musicians and outstanding young artists at the start of their careers, and to welcome concert-goers into The Royal Hospital Chelsea which is regarded as one of London's finest architectural gems.
To date The RHC Concerts has contributed some £20,000 to The Chelsea Pensioners' Appeal, to support the on-going programme of repair and renewal required by this famous institution built in 1682, and it aims to maintain this support by continuing to promote concerts of wide appeal to attract capacity audiences.
The RHC Concerts was launched in 2004 and is proud to have presented the following internationally renowned musicians, and rising stars, in its annual autumn concert season. Originally taking place in both the State Apartments and the Wren Chapel the popularity of the series has now seen a move to the Wren Chapel for all the concerts in 2011 to satisfy the demand for tickets.
