Join our team at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and play a key role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our Chelsea Pensioners. We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy hospitality environment
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll support the preparation, service and clearing of food and beverages, help set up for events and functions, and ensure dining areas are always welcoming, clean and well presented. Most importantly, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience for those we serve.
Whether you already have hospitality experience or are looking to build a career in the industry, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
This is a full-time position working any five days out of seven, including weekends. Shift patterns are:
• 06:30 to 14:30
• 07:00 to 15:00
• 10:30 to 18:30
• 11:00 to 19:00

Our selection process
Should your application be successful you will be invited to a formal interview, where you will be asked questions relating to your experiences and key requirements of the role. If you are successful after the interviews we will:
- Ask for references from those you have listed on your application form
- Check your right to live and work in the UK
- Check any declarations you have made on your application form
- Ask you to complete a medical form
- Carry out an Enhanced DBS application.
