Chelsea Pensioners mark 62nd anniversary of Korean War Armistice
27th July 2015
The Chelsea Pensioners have marked the 62nd anniversary of the Korean War Armistice Agreement - officially marking the end of the Korean War, at a commemorative ceremony in London's Whitehall today.
Korean War veterans Gerry Farmer, left of image, and Arthur 'Skippy' Teasdale were in attendance at the ceremony.
Farmer, who was injured in Korea and sent to a British Commonwealth hospital in Kore, Japan at the time of the armistice, has reflected on the three year conflict.
He said, "it's often a forgotten war, but today's ceremony is important to remember all those who fought and especially those who lost their lives."
