The David-Rees Williams Trio to perform for the RHC Concert Series

6th November 2013

On the 20th November, the David-Rees Williams Trio will be performing highlights from Ex Mass to put everyone in the mood for the Christmas Season.

The inspiring sound of the acclaimed David Rees-Williams Trio unites the very best of classical and jazz music.

They first caught the imagination of Radio 3 listeners when David's arrangement of Purcell's When I am Laid in Earth from the privately recorded album Classically Minded was played by Sean Rafferty on In Time in the summer of 2001. The response from listeners was extraordinary and the BBC invited the Trio to record a commcercial disc on their Late Junction label which received excellent reviews. More CD's followed, Thinking Allowed was widely and unanimously acclaimed as one of the outstanding albums of its genre and the Trio have again been guests of Sean Rafferty to perform tracks from their latest CD.

You can buy tickets to this event from Theatre503.
