Win a copy of The First World War on DVD

Based on the book by Hew Strachan, "The First World War" series covers all aspects of the war. This is a stunning account of the hostilities which offers new interpretations of, and insights into, one of the defining events of the twentieth century.

Terms & Conditions of Entry:

  1. Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 13 and above only.
  2. One entry into the prize draw is available through the following methods, (a maximum of 3 entries is available into the contest per individual)
    i. Subscribing to our newsletter through our prize draw page,
    ii. Following our official Twitter account (@RHChelsea) & sharing any contest related tweet,
    iii. Liking our official Facebook page (@RoyalHospitalChelsea) & sharing any contest related post.
  3. The contest opens at 12:00 on Tuesday 24th July and will close at 12:00 on 30th August 2018.
  4. Three (3) winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries received and winners notified within 14 days of the contest closing.
  5. Each winner will receive one (1) DVD "The First World War" in Region 2 format and which is exempt from age classifcation.
  6. Winners will have 14 days to respond otherwise any prize may be forefeitted and another winner chosen at random.
  7. The contest is run by the Royal Hospital Chelsea, Royal Hospital Road. London SW3 4SR.
  8. All decisions are final and correspondence will not be entered into. Winners details will only be published if they provide consent to do so.
  9. All data provided in submission of entry into the prize draw, and in subscribing to our newsletter, is handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
