Grants from Charitable Trusts and Foundations

We depend on grants from charitable trusts and foundations to provide the outstanding care we provide to the Chelsea Pensioners. Their support is critical to our future, ensuring that the Royal Hospital can continue its historic role as home to our Nation’s veterans.

Support from grant-giving bodies enabled us to build the Margaret Thatcher Infirmary, plant new allotments to boost the wellbeing of our veterans and has contributed to the restoration of our important Grade I listed buildings. With further support we can continue to improve our care and facilities, carry out vital maintenance and meet our running costs, so the Chelsea Pensioners enjoy the best quality of life and this iconic institution can look forward to a bright future.
