Each year we invite members of the public to join us at the Royal Hospital Chelsea for a number of public events held here. We have a range of events taking place this year which are outlined below and some first-look details of key events to look out for in 2019.


Currently celebrating 40 years since the release of their debut album, Toto are one of the world’s foremost rock bands. With their current line-up of Joseph Williams (Lead Vocals), Steve Porcaro (Keyboards), and Steve Lukather (Guitars, Vocals), the group are celebrating an incredible legacy of unparalleled hits and accolades.

For just over 40 years, the Gipsy Kings have entertained audiences worldwide with their energetic brand of traditional flamenco styles with Western pop and Latin rhythms.The group’s self-titled debut album became a genuine phenomenon, certified gold and platinum around the globe, introducing millions of listeners to The Gipsy King’s unique sound.

Tom Jones has announced a very special headline London show this summer, taking place at the spectacular courtyard of the Royal Hospital Chelsea – home of the Chelsea Pensioners

St George's Day
Chelsea Pensioners celebrate St George's Day

Each year, April 23rd usually marks St George's Day, the Patron Saint of England who is celebrated for mythical tales of conquering a mighty dragon. This year, the date also marked National Asparagus Day, and the Royal Hospital Chelsea celebrated both events in a uniquely British way.
