Last week, the Royal Hospital’s Chelsea Pensioners Veteran Outreach programme embarked on a nationwide roadshow to connect with Veterans in Northeast England.

We are delighted to receive accreditation to the Veteran Aware NHS initiative. Professor Tim Briggs CBE, Chair of Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance, presented the Governor of the Royal Hospital, General Sir Adrian Bradshaw, KCB OBE DL, with the Royal Hospital accreditation at our Chelsea Veteran Outreach event yesterday.

On 12 December, veterans from the wider community joined Chelsea Pensioners for a carol service in the Royal Hospital’s Wren Chapel.

Royal Hospital Chelsea, home to the Chelsea Pensioners, has been awarded a £3.2million grant thanks to National Lottery players.
